This 1969 Ford Bronco was purchased by the current owner in 2019 and subsequently refurbished and modified. Work included installing a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 crate engine, a Kincer Engineering chassis, new Shannon’s Broncos steel bodywork, re-trimming the interior, and finishing the truck in black over tan vinyl upholstery. A 10R80 ten-speed automatic transmission and an Atlas dual-range twin-stick transfer case were also installed along with a limited-slip rear differential, and additional equipment includes a combined suspension and body lift, a Krawlers Edge cage, chrome bumpers, Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital gauges, an Alpine touchscreen infotainment system, TracTive shocks, 17” Raceline alloy wheels, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with a hydraulic booster. This modified Bronco was listed by the selling dealer on BaT in July 2023 and is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with a clean California title.
Steel bodywork from Shannon’s Broncos Mega Bronco Kit with Dennis Carpenter rear quarters was finished in black during the refurbishment. The truck is equipped with a black bimini top, chrome bumpers, and AMP Research power-operated side steps. Additional details include a black grille, dual mirrors, bright trim, stainless steel door hinges, and Bronco Sport badging.
Raceline 17? alloy wheels wear 285/70 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires that show 2020 date codes. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with a hydraulic booster, drilled and slotted rotors, red-painted calipers, and braided hoses. The replacement Kincer Engineering chassis has been powder coated black, and equipment includes an integrated 2? body lift, a 3? suspension lift, front and rear four-link suspension setups, Eibach dual-rate coil springs, a TracTive steering damper and remote-reservoir coilover shocks, a Borgerson four-turn steering box, and Warn manually locking front hubs.
The cabin houses heated front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in Vintage Broncos diamond-stitched brown vinyl upholstery that extends to the door panels, dash pad, and rear trim. An American Autowire wiring harness was installed during the refurbishment along with Vintage Air climate control, an Alpine touchscreen infotainment system, power windows, push-button start, a twin-stick transfer-case shifter, an ICON center console, front and rear shoulder belts, and a Krawlers Edge cage.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted on a tilt-adjustable steering column, and Dakota Digital instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows less than 800 miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 5.0-liter Gen 3 Coyote V8 was installed during the refurbishment and is equipped with an aluminum block, pistons, and cylinder heads as well as steel connecting rods, a forged steel crankshaft, double overhead camshafts, and a composite oil pan. Additional equipment includes a Ford Performance ECU, an aluminum radiator, and a Pedal Commander Bluetooth throttle-response controller as well as Krawlers Edge exhaust headers and a 2.5? exhaust system with a Borla muffler.
A reportedly new 10R80 ten-speed automatic transmission was installed in the 2019 refurbishment and power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through an Atlas dual-range transfer case, and a rear Eaton Truetrac limited-slip differential. The fabricated 9? front and rear axle assemblies are equipped with 31-spline chromoly axle shafts and 4.11:1 gearing.
